Singer Paloma San Basilio will arrive at Metropolitan Santiago this Friday, March 17

The Spanish music star, Paloma San Basilio, returns to Santiago de Chile to delight Chileans with her new tour: “Te lo digo con Música”. She will perform in Santiago on Friday, March 17 at the Metropolitan Santiago convention center, showcasing the greatest hits that have accompanied her throughout most of her career. In addition to her classic songs, the singer will show material from her latest album “Más Cerca”, which includes memorable songs by renowned authors such as Joan Manuel Serrat, Armando Manzanero, Francisco Céspedes, Lennon and McCartney. Paloma San Basilio, winner of a Latin Grammy Award, has sold more than 16 million records in her career, and has performed great songs such as “Juntos”, “Luna de miel”, “Por qué me abandonaste”, “Beso a beso”, “Nadie como tu”, among many others. The internationally recognized actress and singer is considered one of the most important artists in Spain, and one of the most recognized ballad artists in the history of the industry, winning awards such as the Gold Medal of Fine Arts awarded by the King of Spain. Paloma San Basilio is a native of Madrid, studied Philosophy and Letters, and Psychology before beginning her artistic career in 1975. She has recorded more than 30 albums, most of which have gone gold and platinum, in almost 50 years of artistic career. Her artistic talent has led her to perform on great stages, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Caesar Palace in Las Vegas, or the Teatro Real in Madrid. Paloma has starred in unforgettable musicals such as Evita, El Hombre de La Mancha, and My Fair Lady. Among the numerous awards she has received is the Grammy for Musical Excellence.
